Get creative with clay and make a beautiful, characterful salt pig for your kitchen in this relaxed, hands-on ceramic hand-building workshop.

You’ll be guided step by step through the process of creating your own salt pig, learning simple hand-building techniques to shape and bring your piece to life. No previous pottery experience is needed, just a little imagination.

This is where you can really make it your own. Keep your design beautifully simple, create a fun character, add stamped patterns, textures or lettering, or experiment with your own ideas. The possibilities are endless, and every salt pig will be completely unique.

Once your piece has dried and been bisque fired, you can choose how you’d like to finish it:

• Choose one of our colourful glazes and we’ll glaze and fire your salt pig for you.
• Return for a painting session and decorate it yourself, choosing your own colours, patterns and details.

The result is a practical piece of handmade pottery with plenty of personality, designed and created entirely by you.
